Willing-. Willing-. boro, Shawnee and Kennedy. . Willingboro, in fact, placed four players on the first squad, Mike Messey, Joe Skwara, Bruce Bellinger Bellinger and Glenn Brennan. Goal-tender Goal-tender Goal-tender Irv Hurd represents Shawnee, with Jim Bailey doing the honors for Kennedy. The South Jersey South is also well represented with Millville's John DiPalma and Mark McDonnell and Vineland's Tae Yeon, while the South Jersey North contributed two, Dave Lischner of Cherry Hill West and Paul Kaiser of Cherry Hill East. Deptford's Vince Nestore was the lone member from the Olympic Conference. The Chimeras qf Willingboro were so talented throughout their lineup this year that it became difficult difficult to distinguish the effectiveness of each individual. Brennan, Bellinger Bellinger and Messey were first-team first-team first-team All-South All-South All-South Jersey selections, with Skwara, a member of the All-Group All-Group All-Group 4 team last season, a second-team second-team second-team selection. Bellinger ranked fourth in South Jersey scoring with 29 goals, while Brennan was close behind with 20 scores. Messey and Skwara keyed a defense that allowed only 18 goals in 21 outings. Shawnee's Hurd came from nowhere to earn his place as one of two All-Group All-Group All-Group 4 keepers. A weight-lifter weight-lifter weight-lifter and hockey player, Hurd manned the nets for Shawnee this season and proceeded to post 10 shutouts.
