Mrs. Gehring, known to friends as Mimi, was born in Lower Merion Township, and raised in Haddonfield. She graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1978 and received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Delaware in 1982. She worked at Pennsylvania Hospital and Allegheny Hospital, Hahnemann, both in Philadelphia, and at Cadbury in Cherry Hill. She was an active parishioner of Holy Saviour Church in Westmont She is survived by her husband, George; a son, Kyle Louis, and daughter, Mary Grace, both at home; her parents, Louis and Josephine D'Auria of Cherry Hill; two brothers, Charles D'Auria of Sharpsville, and Christopher D'Auria of Havertown, and two sisters, Carolyn Franz of Cherry Hill and Janine Rousseau of Westmont.

Arrangements are by Blake-Doyle Funeral Home in Collingswood. Albert T. Chadwick 81, of West Palm Beach, died Monday in Wellington Regional Medical Center, Wellington, Fla. He was a native Philadelphian and worked as a maintenance foreman for Ford Aerospace Division, Willow Grove, Pa. He retired in 1982 after 43 years and moved to Florida.

Mr. Chadwick was a daily communicant at Holy Name of Jesus Church, West Palm Beach. He is survived by his wife, Ann M. (nee Anstey); two sons, Albert of Salisbury, and Thomas D. of Cudjoe Key, a daughter, Patricia A.

Taylor of Mount Ephraim; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Thomas of Haddonfield. Burial will be private. Joseph D. Pileggi, 59, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday of natural causes at home. Mr.

Pileggi succeed his father, Joseph F. Pileggi, as owner Vincent Joseph a chain of hair salons in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. Mr. Pileggi and his wife, Charlotte, retire St. Petersburg in 1991 from Marlton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa Knapp of St. Petersburg and JoAnn of Scranton, his mother, Gertrude of Ocean City, Cape May County; two sisters, Marylyn Torta of Miami Beach, Fla. and Jeannie Woodbury of Cherry Hill; and a brother, Robert of Cherry Hill. John C. Flack, 74, of Cher- ry 1 1 Middled Monday at home. He was a retired industrial division manager for Manpower Inc. in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Lions Club of Maple Shade and was a Melvin Jones Fellow, a Lions Club humanitarian award.

He belonged to the Collingswood Breakfast Club. Mr. Flack was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Collingswood. He is survived by a brother, George of Pompano Beach, and a nephew, Andrew of St. Paul, Minn.

Hilton Dale Baker, 71, of Bullhead City, died Monday in his home. Mr. Baker was born in New Brighton, Pa. He was a retired chemical engineer and was a Marine veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Elda; two daughters, Kathy Forte of Moorestown and Dawn Hoffman of Pitman; two stepsons, David De-Grande and Phillip DeGrande, both of Yuma, three stepdaughters, Catherine McCaul of Tucson, Sara Crawford of Bard, and Laura DeGrande of Yuma; his mother, Ann Baker of Burlington City; two brothers, Herbert of Collingswood and William of Las Vegas; a sister, Ruth Saquella of Pennsauken; 21 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Service and burial will be private. Arrangements are by Dimond Sons Silver Bell Chapel of Bullhead City. Albert Michael Purvis, 72, Of Cherry 1 1 ill died Wednesday at Allegheny Hospital, Graduate, Philadelphia. Bom in Audubon, Mr. Purvis had lived in Cherry Hill the past 32 years.

He was an electrical engineer and a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia. He worked for Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania for 38 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of American Legion Post 372, Cherry Hill; and Bell Atlantic Pioneers, Liberty Bell Chapter 6. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the European theater. Last year, he was awarded the Normandy Invasion Medal in a ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at Cooper River.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine M. of Cherry Hill; a son, Craig of Cherry Hill; three daughters, Diane Del Rossi of Voorhees, Wendy Schroeder of Aurora, Ohio, and Lori Althouse of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; a brother, Robert of Gloucester City; a sister, Lois Simpson of Ocala, and four grandchildren. Tamaska 76, of Washington Township, died Wednesday at home. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Tamaska lived in Blenheim before moving to the Sewell section of Washington Township 46 years ago. He received his bachelor's degree in 1949 from the former Glassboro State College, now Rowan University. He received his master's degree in education and administration from Rutgers University.

He was principal at Birches School in Washington Township when the school opened in 1968. He worked there until 1975. He also was a former superintendent with the Magnolia school district, a former principal at East Brunswick Middle School in Middlesex County, and a former teaching principal at Blackwood Terrace School. He also was a former secretary of the Blenheim Fire Company and a Boy Scout leader during the 1940s in Blackwood Terrace. He was a member of the Sierra Club, a life member of the Friends of Batsto and New Jersey Parent Teachers Organization, and a former member of the Pitman Police Reserves.

Lyle R. Knecht, 57, of Mullica Township, Atlantic CountyJ died Wednesday at Kessler Memorial Hospital in Hammonton after a long illness. Mr. Knecht was born and raised in Camden and had lived in the Nesco section of the township for 30 years. He was a truck driver with Teamsters Local 331 of Pleasantville and enjoyed horses, country music and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, of Elkton, a daughter, Jackie Petit of Nesco; four stepsons, Joe Stringer, Tim Stringer, Richard Stringer and James Stringer, all of Maryland; a brother, Jack Shaner of Denmark, S.C.; three granddaughters; 11 step-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild. Burial will be private. Betty Orbanus, 74, of Eag-leswood Township, Ocean County died Wednesday in Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Mrs. Orbanus (nee Baskeyfield) was a presser for Artcraft Company, Williamstown. Born in Tunstull, England, she was a veteran of the British Navy.

She moved to Philadelphia in 1946 and resided in Williamstown and Clayton before moving to the West Creek section of Eagleswood in 1976. She enjoyed knitting and antiques. Mrs. Orbanus is survived by her husband, Martin; a daughter, Lesley of Wildwood; a sister, Dora Pepper of Stoke-on-Trent, England; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call Monday from noon to 2 p.m.

Comstock, 66, Of Evesham died Wednesday in West Jersey Hospital, Marlton. Mr. Comstock lived in the Marlton section of Evesham for 39 years. He worked as a marketing specialist for Arco in Philadelphia for 22 years before retiring in 1976. He then worked as a sales representative for Puritan Oil in Bellmawr between 1976 and 1984.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6295, Marlton. He is survived by his wife, Donna; three sons, David and Thomas, both of Marlton, and Richard of Southampton; a daughter, Debra McCrosson of Pine Hill; two brothers, Douglas of Glen Bumie, and Roger of Pitts-ford, N.Y., and five grandchildren. George Joseph Lucas, 81, Of FranklinJ died Wednesday in South Jersey Hospital, Elmer. Bom in Philadelphia, Mr. Lucas lived in West Deptford before moving to the Malaga section of Franklin 37 years ago. He had been a Merchant Marine and was a custodian for Delsea Regional High School until his retirement in 1981. He then began another career with the Franklin Road Department, retiring in 1987.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred (nee Prewett); three sons, Glenn of Malaga, Bruce Kidd of Vineland and Gary Kidd of Wild-wood; a daughter, Janice of Malaga; five sisters, Theresa DelRossi of Lindenwold, Veronica Trerotla and Elizabeth Camanaro, both of Philadelphia, Florence Blosenski of Media and Anna Mae Kaminsky of Berlin, and four grandchildren.
