OBITUARIES Mrs. Dorothy Stratton Dies at Seashore Avalon, Sept. 21-Mrs. Dorothy A. Stratton, 61, of 264 21st died Thursday in Burdette Tomlin Hospital, Cape May Court House, She was the wife of former Mayor Fowler H.

Stratton. A resident here since 1914, she was active in civic affairs and was chairman of Avalon Red Cross Disaster Service; chairman of the March of Dimes; past president of the Avalon Parent- Teachers Association; a charter member of the Avalon Five Point Club: a member of the Burdette Tomlin Hospital Auxiliary; the Avalon Yacht Club and St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Stone Harbor. Surviving are her husband; a son, Fowler of "Norristown, a daughter, Mrs. Alliene Kline, of Avalon, and three grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. in a funeral home at 866 Bay Shore South Dennis, where friends may call tonight. Burial will be in South Dennis Cemetery. MRS.

JANE F. STANDISH Westville Grove, Sept. 21-- Mrs. Jane F. Standish, 63, of Cedar died in a hospital Thursday.

The union also passed a resolution to increase dues from $3 to $5 a month. The resolution calling for the ney pay hikes met only minor opposition on the floor. The new pay scale provides international 000 annually instead of $40,000, David McDonald and the international vice president, Howard Hague, and the seeretary-treasurer, I. Abel. were raised from $25,000 to $35,000 a year.

21 (UP)The United States has accepted a Russian proposal for coordinated flights over the Aretic during the 1957-58 international geophysical year. The State Department said Thursday that under the plan Russian planes will land at U. S. base the Nome area of Alaska and U. S.

Dodd, 52, of 2895 Constitution died Thursday at his home. Born in Atlaptic City, he lived in Camden the past 37 years.

He was superintendent at George D. Ellis Sons, Camden, the past 14 years, and also operated a flower shop with his wife. Doris at their home. He was a member of Ionic Lodge 94, FAM, and American Legion Post 71. During the early 1940's, Mr.

Dodd was active in the South Jersey Wage Tax Protest League, a group which sought to exempt Federal employes who worked in Philadelphia and resided in South Jersey from the Philadelphia wage tax. He was chairman of the legislative committee of the league. At the time, he was employed in the Navy Yard, Philadelphia. Besides his wife, he is sur. vived by a son, John a daughter, Joan Strack, both living at home: his father, John and a sister, Mrs.
