He says he's haunted by over-sized cocktail tables. But he also admits he brought it on himself.

Pahlmann is the decorator who started the fad for enormous i 14s i 4 cocktail tables. When he first placed an enormous low table in a room, the idea was greeted with huzzahs and everyone copied the idea.
