Agent backs FBI boss Associated Press ATLANTA An FBI agent, saying that some of the children were slain by their parents, says his boss had "the full facts behind him" In announcing that several of the 23 slayings of black youths were "substantially solved." FBI Special Agent Mike Twibell told a civic club in Macon, that FBI Director William Webster was correct when he made the statement, published in yesterday's editions of the Atlanta Constitution. The statement has been disputed by Atlanta officials.

Questioned by reporters after the meeting, Twibell said that "some of those kids were killed by their parents." Twibell's comments yesterday coincided with the funeral of the 23rd youth found dead in the Atlanta area since July 1979. About 150 mourners attended the funeral of 20-year-old Larry Rogers, described by police as small in stature and mentally retarded. His decomposing body was found April 9 in an abandoned apartment building less than two miles from his northwest Atlanta home. Only one other victim has been an adult. Police, meanwhile, continued to search yesterday for a man who was last seen with Rogers on March 30, the day he disappeared.
