He once sang with entertainer Sammy Kaye and appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including Dick Clark's American Bandstand. He recorded many of his own songs locally in the 1950s and 1960s and in Nashville in 1981. He is survived by his wife, Mary; three sons, Wayne, Glenn and Bruce; his mother Marie A. Bacon; two brothers, Robert and Richard, and four grandchildren, Garwood, Alison, Melissa and Steven. Two other sons, Dale P.

and Garwood are deceased. Garwood a standout student-athlete at Palmyra High School who graduated from the Naval Academy and became a pilot, was killed in 1975 when his plane and a Marine Corps. jet collided off the Scottish coast. Menor, ex-Hawaiian justice HONOLULU (AP) Benjamin Menor, the first Hawaii legislator of Filipino ancestry and the first Filipino-American to sit on a state supreme court, has died at age 63. A Democrat, Mr. Menor served inthe state Senate from 1962-66. He served as a District Court magistrate and a Circuit Court judge on the island of Hawaii until he was named to the state Supreme Court in 1974, serving untilhe resigned in 1982 to join a finance company..
