Menor, ex-Hawaiian justice HONOLULU (AP) Benjamin Menor, the first Hawaii legislator of Filipino ancestry and the first Filipino-American to sit on a state supreme court, has died at age 63. A Democrat, Mr. Menor served inthe state Senate from 1962-66. He served as a District Court magistrate and a Circuit Court judge on the island of Hawaii until he was named to the state Supreme Court in 1974, serving untilhe resigned in 1982 to join a finance company..
