Thelma H. Clevenger, 73, of Mount Laurel, died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mount Holly. Born in Medford, Mrs. Clevenger (nee Hinchman) lived in Mount Laurel since 1948. Surviving are her husband, Leon; two daughters, Shirley Ann Bootsma of Mount Laurel and Diana Long of Bridgewater, a son, C.

Leon of Mount Laurel; three brothers, Samuel Hinchman and Carlton Hinchman, both of Medford, and Ellis Hinchman of Evesham; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Saturday at Stratford United Methodist Church, Union and Central avenues, Stratford. Arrangements are under- the direction of Baumeister, Small Mortuaries Inc. of York, Pa. Robert H. Saunders, 67, of Haddon Township, died Wednesday at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Cherry Hill.

Mr. Saunders was born In Haddon Heights. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during War World II in the Pacific; He joined the Haddon Towh-ship police department as a patrolman on Aug. 1, 1950 and advanced through the ranks of the department to his eventual promotion to chief in 1978.

He served as chief of police for 10 years before retiring in March 1988. His son, Robert M. is also a police officer with the Haddon Township police department. 1 Mr. Saunders held several positions in the Policemen's Bfe-nevolent Association Local 30, which later became Local 257.

During his tenure as chief, he was active in the International Police Chiefs Association, the New Jersey State Police Chiefs Association, the South Jersey Police Chiefs Association and the Camden County Police Chiefs Association. Mr. Saunders had a reputation for excellent markmanship. He formed an affiliate of the National Rifle Association. He was invited to compete in rifle competition in the 1956 Olympics but didn't participate.

While serving on the police department, Mr. Saunders was active in community groups. He served as chairman of the Township Teenage Canteen, Range Master for South Jersey Suburban Police Inc. He was a candidate for the Young Man of the Year award sponsored by the Greater Camden County Junior Chamber of Commerce. He was active in the Haddon Township Athletic Association where he managed the A minors baseball team for two years then coached majors for one year then served as Babe Ruth president for three years.

He was manager of the Girls JuniorSenior softball team for a combined six years: served as umpire for the Haddoji Township Athletic Association. Mr. Saunders was a memler lf the Mozart Lodge 121, He was a member of the Westmopt Fire company. He was most recently employed with the Haddon Township Board of Education. Surviving are his wife, Anne two sons, Robert M.

Born in Camden, he was a former truck driver for the Courier-Post. Mr. Coughlin is survived by his wife, Stella (Betanski); two sons, Albert E. of Deptford and Harold F. of Cherry Hill; and four grandchildren.

Cataldo "Tallie" Procacci, 76, of Pennsauken, died Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden. Born in Camden, Mr. Procacci lived in Pennsauken 41 years. He was owner and president of Mount Vernon Tomato Co. He owned that business for 40 years and retired in 1978.

He started it while working with his father, Luigi Procacci and Sons Produce in Camden. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Josephine (nee Guarino); two sons, Lewis of Cherry Hill and Leonard of Pennsauken; two daughters, Joanne Rhile of Pennsauken and Diane Honan of Absecon; four sisters, Rose Cinelli, Nancy Johnson, Mary Gould and Anita; three brothers, Anthony, James and Michael and 12 grandchildren. A viewing will be 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at FalcoCaruso Funeral Home, 6600 Browning Road, Pennsauken.
