KATO, Edward Sr. Edward, 90, of Moorestown, NJ died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Virtua Memorial Hospital Burlington County in Mount Holly, NJ. Mr. Kato was born in Rankin, PA and lived in Southampton, NJ for 50 years before moving to Moorestown two years ago. He was a Postal Carrier in Southampton for 30 years, retiring in 1982.

Mr. Kato honorably served his country in the US Army during World War II and had received the Purple Heart. Additionally, he served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Kato was preceded in death by his wife Jean R.

(nee Rieger) in 2005. He is survived by his son Edward Jr. and his wife Eileen of Texas; daughters Karen E. Parker and her husband Ron of Moorestown, and Deborah J. Williams and her husband Dave of Virginia; grandchildren Joanna Arnold, Deborah and Erin Kato, Amanda Mosley, Adam Parker.
