Rhoad, 82, of Venice, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005 in Venice, Fl. He was the husband of Mary T. (Esposito) Rhoad, married for 35 years. He was born July 2, 1923 in Arcola, PA' to Kenneth and Mary Leiper Rhoad of Phoenixville, PA.

Before moving to Venice 12 years ago he was a resident of Cherry Hill, NJ where he was employed by Computer Sciences Corp. of Moorestown, NJ as a computer weapon systems specialist, retiring after 22 years. Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Navy as a career naval officer from 1944 to 1966, retiring as a Lt. Commander.

During this period, he served as a naval aviator on board various aircraft carriers as well as other assignments including flight instructor, computer programmer, and systems specialist. His tours of duty included assignments to Naval Bases in San Diego, CA, Brunswick, GA, Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA, Pensacola, FL, Great Lakes Naval Air Station, IL. Dusty was an avid gardener and prided himself on his orchids and beautiful tropical garden in Venice as well as his vegetable and flower garden on Long Beach Island, NJ where he and his wife Mary spent their summers. They enjoyed traveling and spent special times with their many friends and family members in this country and abroad. In addition to his wife Mary, he is survived by his four children of a previous marriage, Gail A.

Gallardo, Mary Anne Hoefert and Susan W. Loft, all of San Diego, CA and Kenneth Rhoad III of Virginia Beach, VA; his sisters Rhoad DuJaney of Bridgeport, CT, Harriet Rhoad Swanson of State College, PA, Ida Rhoad Wrenn of Madison, WI and his brother Edwards L. Rhoad of Falls Church, VA, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother George W. Rhoad of Phoenixville, PA.

A memorial service will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 508 Riviera Venice at 10:00 AM Thursday Nov. 17th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Naval Aviation Museum Foundation, 1750 Radford Suite NAS Pensacola, FL, 32508 (850-453-2389). ROSS, Richard Donald Died at home on at the age of 77.

Author and editor of numerous technical publications in the field of Chemical Engineering, specifically combustion, incineration and pollution control. 1951 Graduate Drexel University. Founder and President of several environmental consulting organizations, lastly Enviromental, Inc. Beloved husband of Barbara Judah Ross, loving father of Patricia Ross, Bruce Ross and Laurent Ross and wife, Mercedes. Grandfather of Tadina and Machel Ross, stepfather of Allison Judah.

Also survived by his brother, Samuel Ross and wife, Dorothy, Carlisle, PA; and cousins, Elizabeth Welch and Jane Crandall. Memorial Service Wednesday, November 30, at 12 o'clock noon, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Moorestown, NJ. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St.

Matthew Memorial Fund would be appreciated. SCHOLLER, John, Of Cherry Hill, age 78, went home to his Lord and his beloved wife Helen on November 15, 2005. Devoted father of Helen (Charles) Altevogt of Camden, DE, Friede (Bill) Borst of Kennett Square, Trudy Adler of Voorhees, NJ, and Elizabeth Jones of Boca Raton, FL. Loving grandfather of Kirsten, Jon and his wife Amy, Chris, Laura, Karena, Kari, Kelly, Natalie and great grandson Zachary. John was a retired brick stone mason, he was a faithful and longtime parishioner of Queen of Heaven Church where he was active in Bingo and Knights of Columbus.

at FUNERAL HOME, 601 W. Rte. 70, Cherry Hill. Entombment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. SCOTT, Lorna Irene (Nee Stringam) of Mullica Hill, New Jersey, passed on November 13, 2005, of respiratory failure after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Fuller Scott; son, Colin Edward of Sacramento, California; daughter, Nancy Huntsman. Provo, Utah; son, Kevin Theodore (Marlaine), of Salt Lake City, Utah; two grandchildren, Rachel and Samuel Huntsman, of Provo, Utah; and four sisters, Ruth Nordstrom, of Idaho, and Georgina Taylor, Sharon Porter, and Gail Howe of Utah. Mrs. Scott was born in Cardston, Alberta, February 28, 1941, the daughter of the late Alonzo Williams Stringam and Mary Alta Anderson. Following graduation from the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute in 1959, she received a certificate in medical technology from the University of Alberta Hospital and was registered with the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technology in 1961.

She pursued a career as a medical technologist, most recently with Virtua West Jersey Health System at Voorhees from 1987 until her death. Mrs. Scott was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In past years she was particularly involved with music, singing with and leading, church choirs. An accomplished amateur ballroom she loved life, glamorous clothes, and holidays.

Viewing will be Friday, November 18, from 7:00 to at PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, Inc. 2001 Berlin Cherry Hill, NJ. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 19, at the Woodstown chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1194 Kings Pilesgrove, NJ at with a viewing one hour before services. Burial services will be in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Tuesday, November 22. SILK, Casey Arthur Age 21, of Somers Point, died early Sunday morning November 13, 2005 in a tragic car accident in Oceanside, California.

Casey was born in Atlantic City and was a resident of Somers Point for his entire life. Casey was a 2002 magna cum graduate of Mainland "Regional High School where he earned eight varsity letters as a a a a a a a a a a standout golfer and wrestler. He briefly attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia on a golf and academic scholarship. Most recently he was a student at the San Diego Golf Academy pursuing his dream of becoming a professional golfer. He was the recipient of countless awards and accolades during both his academic and athletic careers, including; 2001 Linwood Country Club Men's Club Champion, 2002 Captain of Mainland Regional High School State Championship Golf Team, set of five school records as a senior wrestler at Mainland, and after going undefeated during the regular season, made it to the regional finals of the state tournament, he was also named NJSIAA Scholar Athlete of the year for 2002.

He will be best remembered by his friends and family for his charisma, his unique style, sense of humor, and positive outlook on life. Casey is survived by parents Larry Mindy Silk, brothers Sean and Steven, maternal grandparents Bob and Doris Elder of Edgewater, FL, paternal grandfather Sam Silk and wife Margo of Moorestown, NJ, paternal grandmother Annette LaJeunesse and husband Ted of DeFuniak Springs, FL. Also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, a close-knit group of hometown friends and many others spanning from coast to coast, along with loyal and faithful companions Penny, Gizmo and Seth Silk.
